The Ridgewood Fourth of July Committee, a group of dedicated hardworking citizens from the Village of Ridgewood and surrounding communities, work all year to organize and raise funds to pay for the 4th of July parade and fireworks each year. 

The Ridgewood Fire Department works with the members of the Fourth of July Committee in developing the fireworks display and providing security for this event. 

The fireworks will be held at Veterans field behind the Village Municipal Building on Saturday, July 4, 2009. The alternate date for the fireworks will be announced in 2009.
