FIRE DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT: It shall be the mission of the fire department to be engaged in the protection of the lives and safety of all people entrusted to our protection, the prevention and suppression of fire, and the preservation of property, by responding to fires, other emergencies, public education and code enforcement Ridgewood Village is located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the fourth most densely populated county in the State. We have a population density of 4,308 residents per square mile, and an overall population of 24,936, within a 5.79 square mile land area. The population density is significantly higher than the Bergen County average of 3,775. |
